About Atomic Tessellator

In the last year, our team of four has built a near-comprehensive platform to simulate almost everything there is to know about a material. We've completed pilot projects across aerospace, defence, nuclear fusion, and advanced polymers, we're the first to scale MLIPs across GPUs, and we're in the process of patenting our first rare-earth magnet substitute.

About the role

As we're an early stage startup, there's still a lot of pain point discovery to be done. Most systems are set up (e.g. CRM, cold outbound flywheel) to support our key priority being more, deeper conversations with customers.

You'll be working closely with Alain (founder) and Daniel (chief ops) to drive towards full ownership of the customer pipeline.

  • You're a generalist that can work all parts of the funnel - from lead-gen to cold outbound to in-person events etc.
  • You have experience taking a deep tech startup from zero to one.
  • You have the ability to quickly understand a technical concept, and simplify it to anyone's level of understanding.
  • You have experience with deep rational inquiry into a market to understand pain points and craft messaging.
  • You obsess over the question "what are our customer's most important business problems and how are materials relevant"
  • You have experience facilitating conversations between government and enterprise customers, often in-person (expect some traveling)
  • You can bring your existing network across frontier engineering and public sector, and you can also build new relationships across computational materials science.

Ownership means you'll decide what systems/tools/marketing tech stack we use. We will trust your judgment. Dan will be at your disposal.

What we look for

  • Authenticity: you say what you think and do what you say
  • Intelligence: you can't satisfy your curiosity
  • Drive: you have short-term urgency but long-term patience
  • Taste: you see and appreciate what others can't see
